On March 19, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-33-20 to all individuals living in the State of California to stay home or at their place of residence except as needed to maintain continuity of operations. The Governor also issued executive orders authorizing telephonic public meetings.
As a result, the San Diego River Conservancy (Conservancy) has made several changes to future meetings to protect the public. Per the Governor’s executive order to stay home, and in person participation at the Governing Board meeting is not allowed at this time. Board Members, Conservancy staff and the public can participate in the meeting via teleconference. As always, we welcome participation from the public.
In Person Meeting Participation Prohibited
Due to Executive Order N 33-20, the State of California has instructed individuals to stay home, in-person participation at San Diego River Conservancy’s Board meetings will not be allowed at this time.

The regularly scheduled Conservancy Board Meetings will resume on May 14, 2020. The agenda will be posted 10 days in advance. Meeting presentations, supporting information and handouts will be posted 7 days prior to the meeting on the Conservancy’s website at https://sdrc.ca.gov/meetings/.

Public Comments and Questions
Members of the public are encouraged to submit their comments via e-mail which will be accepted until 9 a.m. the day before the meeting. Members of the public may submit written comments on any matter within the Board’s subject matter jurisdiction, regardless of whether the matter is on the agenda for Board consideration or action.
Comments not exceeding 300 words will be read into the record at the Board Meeting. Lengthier comments will be posted on the Conservancy’s website.
If you wish to provide comments or ask questions, please do so in advance of the meeting by emailing wendell.taper@sdrc.ca.gov and dustin.harrison@sdrc.ca.gov the following information:

All comments must be received by the Conservancy no later than May 13, 2020 at 9 a.m. and will be forwarded to Conservancy Board Members, Conservancy staff and the Department of Justice’s Deputy Attorney General in advance of the meeting and posted on the Conservancy’s website in advance of meeting. Remote Attendance
May 14, 2020 Telephonic Board Meeting 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The public may listen to the Board meeting while in session – simply dial (877) 402-9757 and enter participant code 606349 followed by the # sign to listen to the live meeting. (Please be courteous and mute your phone if you are not speaking.)
Members of the public who dial into the meeting will also be given an opportunity to comment during the public comment period at the start of the meeting and on individual items on the agenda.
